Job Brief

The Real-World Evidence Solution consultant is responsible for sourcing and developing new business opportunities and developing solutions for strategic partners. They will cultivate and expand business relationships with new partners, develop solutions and help customers translate their strategy into research concepts.

They will need to be able to understand and engage with a Pharma/CRO client on the topic of Evidence generation in medical research. An academic or professional background as epidemiologist, public health, health economist or medical affairs would be preferable. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by being a close ally to science.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a talented individual with 5+ years’ experience. This background could come from Real World Research, Epidemiology, Public Health or Medical Affairs in either Academia or the BioPharma industry. The individual should be able to understand a research protocol and support the initial stages of a project to ensure customer success.

They should have experience designing or implementing one or more of the following real-world studies: Health Economics and outcomes, Registry, Prospective observational study, decentralized Clinical trial, Patient-reported outcomes study, Post-approval Safety study. They would also need to be aware of the general regulatory framework and market drivers for real-world evidence.  Most importantly, an entrepreneurial, curious and collaborative attitude is needed. Desire to take initiatives and work as part of a high-performance team are key to success.

We are an established & rapidly-expanding software solutions provider to the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry. Our offerings include a broad package of offerings used for RWE and decentralised clinical research including EDC, eCOA, and eConsent. Cisiv focuses on Real World Late Phase research, which is critical to understanding how medicines behave in real use as opposed to highly controlled clinical trials. Studies can be prospective, retrospective or both, and will include data from hospitals, general practice and gathered directly from patients and carers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, cultivate & expand business relationships with new partners
  • Support sales pipeline by engaging new clients who conduct research
  • Gather and analyse scientific and business requirements from client and understand key research objectives
  • Articulate the relationship between a research project and enabling technology
  • Translate clients’ protocol into requirements for study design
  • Articulate the value of Cisiv’s technology in relation to the desired evidence generation plan
  • Support the initial stages of a project to ensure customer success
  • Be an ambassador for Cisiv’s technology at conferences and on social media

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the Pharma Industry: in Real World Research, Epidemiology, Public Health or Medical affairs.
  • MSc or PhD, academic background as Epidemiologist, Public Health, or Health economist.
  • MBA desirable
  • Positive client, team and solution-oriented attitude
  • Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work on own with minimal direct day-to-day supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set, organize and meet priorities

Salary and Location

The role is for 40 hours a week.

We offer a competitive salary package of £65-80k per annum – (£140K on target earnings) with benefits. We embrace hybrid working and offer a blended working week – combining office and remote working. Our offices continue to be where we connect, collaborate and innovate. We would expect the successful candidate’s attendance at our New Malden office for collaborative working sessions 2-4 times per month on average. There may be limited client travel required 20% time.
